    Dugi pljesak kojim je brojna publika u dvorani Kulturno informativnog centra (KIC) u središtu Zagreba u petak navečer pozdravila sudionike tribine “Latinka između politike i povijesti” potvrdio je kako uvjerenja Latinke Perović jesu možda pobijeđena, ali nisu mrtva: uvjerenja da je moguća suradnja i partnerstvo, pa i prijateljstvo Srbije i Hrvatske, Srba i Hrvata, kao i svih ljudi i naroda na prostoru bivše Jugoslavije – ali uz uvjet odgovornog razumijevanja povijesti te moralnog preuzimanja odgovornosti i za prošlost, i za budućnost.

    Tribinu je organizirao ravnatelj KIC-a, redatelj, scenarist i pisac Hrvoje Hribar, koji je skup otvorio dojmljivim sjećanjem na Latinku Perović, taj “glas koji je metež devedesetih nadglasao intonacijom mira i razbora”.

    “Imena Latinke i Marka Nikezića, zajedno s imenima Savke i Tripala”, kazao je Hribar, “simbolizirala su mit bolje prošlosti i mit izgubljene budućnosti”.
