American jazz vocalist Kevin Mahogany was born in in Kansas City, Missouri. He began his musical journey at a young age, studying piano and later adding clarinet and baritone saxophone. Mahogany's intense practice regimen of up to eight hours a day forged a deep connection with his wind instruments during his teenage years.
